Breeding in May; pups July and ready in late Aug/Sept 2014.
These pups will be visually beautiful in coat and conformation. Their temperaments will be outgoing, social, up for any endeavor. Hunting, agility, conformation and most of all as companions- any of these endeavors will be possible. NONE of the pups will be affected with DM or PRA either. One of our finest breedings in our 35 years in the breed.

CHISUM is a medium sized male 24" and 85 lbs. of muscle, Chisum was BW/WD at the 2013 National Chesapeake show.
He completed his title with a win at coveted KC of PHILADELPHIA show. His size, structure, coat and head are an outstanding package of correctness and balance. He moves with power and ground covering extension. He is a very typical Chesapeake-a personal companion devoted to his owners. His sire was the top stud dog in the UK in 2013 and also picks up at shoots of hundreds of pheasants on the British estates. Chisum's dam is a beautiful female twice Reserve Winners at the National Chesapeake show. She has bone, conformation, coat and sound movement. His pedigree contains some of our breeding-top producing males Bering Sea & Casablanca plus superior females with solid field abilities.

SPECIAL is a 24", 77 lbs. dark brown female. In 2012, she was the #1 Chesapeake in breed win pts. She won Best Chesapeake at the prestigious Westminster KC in 2013.
The only word for her is special. She came by her name due to being delivered by c-section & the only pup in her litter. Her coat and conformation are outstanding-the outline is everything a Chesapeake should look ideally look like. Her movement-like Hudson's-is sound and ground covering. She easily made her titles and is a Silver Grand Champion. She is a multiple group placer as well. Her personality is sweet and fun loving and she rolls with the moment. She LOVES the water. This is her second litter and she is our direct line back to our foundation female from 1977. Pups from her first litter are proving to be wonderful hunters and companions.

Chisum's Family Info
All of the Arnac Chesapeakes (UK) are bred for good looks, a kind solid temperament, working ability, personality and that true Chesapeake coat that makes them stand apart from other retrievers. The dogs are expected to win in the show ring in the summer months and work hard 'picking up' during the winter months. We average four days a week picking up during the pheasant shooting season.

Chestnut Hills have been breeding top Chesapeakes since the 1970's. Their dogs have won National Specialty Shows multiple times; been top producers; earned FT points and Hunt tests titles. The dogs are heavily boned and coated with broad heads in general. Truly excellent CBR type and character.
