This litter is temperament and working ability PLUS ! These will be pups who truly will meet our goal of a well-rounded Chesapeake- Hunting Ability, Good Looks and with Solid Sound Temperaments & Health. If you were thinking of trying some AKC competition, one of these pups will be able to compete in multiple venues. Browns and possibly sedge expected. We are keeping one ourselves from this breeding! PRA/EIC & DM unaffected.

JOUST is 24.5 and 90 lbs. Broad head, stocky conformation with excellent angulation. Good coat & ground covering side gait. He is pointed in conformation and has 2 legs on JH and should complete his JH title in the Spring. Joust naturally delivers to hand and is very birdy. He is a sweetheart of dog in personality. He enjoys kicking up turkey and pheasants on walks. Joust is a product of a special frozen semen breeding that was done forward the high trainability of his sire. Brave has produced multiple offspring earning success in field trials, hunt tests and conformation. Brave himself came from a litter of 5 Ch dogs, one a BIS/JH, 2 MH titled and 2 UD titled! Legend, his dam, has titled offspring from her earlier litters in shows and hunt tests.

WICKED is 22" and 65 lbs. Sparingly shown, she easily completed her Ch title. She is an ACC supported entry winner and was Winners over 85 other females at our 2009 National Show. Her conformation & movement excel in balance. She is well angled at both ends, has a thick heavy waved coat, good tail carriage, lovely head. She moves without effort-absolute soundness. She is a determined and fast retriever. Her personality is charming & disarming-kisses, tail wagging-she meets no strangers. Yet she is a good watch dog like a CBR should be. Her sire is a MH. Her dam was a substantial girl with points in conformation and a hunting prowess who was hit by a car while hunting in OK. Wicked's 6 generation pedigree contains DC/AFC, FT QAA ***, 2 MH, multiple group winning and placing parentage.
