Looking for that special hunting companion with the temperament and looks that are outstanding ? This litter fits the bill ! There are 3 Master Hunters in the first 3 generation- a testament to our breeding decisions. These should be robust, well coated hunters with the drive to work a day in the field. They should also slip into your home setting as a calm and sensible companion with the looks that mark them as superior example of what a CBR should be. UNAFFECTED WITH PRA, EIC and DM.

OTTER is 24.5" 90 lbs. light brown boy. He is owned and trained by pro trainer Molly Boland. She describes him as a hard working dog who loves birds. He is a good marker and is a steady and responsive handling dog. He earned his SH quickly and so far has 4 MH passes and 2 passes on his HRCh title with UKC. His coat is coarse, thick and nicely waved. He has nicely balanced angulation, short strong back and good bone. He has a masculine but not coarse head. H needs but 4 pts for his Ch titl- in 4 shows he won 3 majors including a BOB over champions. His sire Redlions Notorious MH QAA *** a handsome sedge dog has produced several QAA FT offspring plus others with AKC hunt titles and show titles. His dam Ch Pond Hollow Sugarcreek Bayli is a lovely lovely light deadgrass bitch-littermate to our Denver- and with strong field (Ch SAKO MH ***) and hunting ancestors (Penrose Puntgunner Gamescout). "Otter has been doing retriever demonstrations at the Ohio State Fair since he was 14 weeks old. He is wonderful with everyone young and old. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard "he has changed my mind about Chesapeakes". He is a goof and a half. I use him as a guide dog for waterfowl and upland over 70 days out of the year. He was a wonderful attitude and loves to hunt. He should finish his Champion title in the show ring by Spring and also his MH, he needs one more leg.

HOLLY is 23" 70 lbs. light brown girl. She is owned by Rob and Dana Jefferies and Patty Martin. In 2015, she was among the Top Ten Chesapeakes in Breed point in conformation. Holly won BOB at the ACC Supported entry at the prestigious Morris & Essex show. She is also a multiple group placer in limited showing. She easily finished her Ch title with supported entry wins and 4 majors including beating champions. She is a coarse coated girl with a sound and ground covering stride. Holly is very calm in nature and loves to be a home body when she is not out at shows. Her sire Ch Pond Hollow Rocky Mtn Range Rider "Brady" MH was completely owner trained to his title. His sire "Denver" was #1 CBR sire in 2012 and produces wonderful personality pups. Brady's pups seem to have the same jolie vive. Her dam was BOS in Sweeps at an ACC National. Her 1/2 sister in Denmark is an International Champion. Holly is a very easy dog to live with and ; enjoys chasing balls and sticks.
