Quick and Tess

Due April; Ready June.

If you are looking for that personal hunting dog that can also be a wonderful home companion for your family, this litter has all the background to provide that. Plus they should be excellent prospects for showing and any sort of dog competition you may be interested in. Coats should be thick and well waved, heads broad with small ears and conformation sound. Colors mainly brown but sedge and deadgrass a possibility. We have done several breedings with the Silvercreek line and have been VERY happy with the personality, retrieving desire and looks of the offspring. We expect no less from this combination.

PUPS WILL BE GENETICALLY NORMAL FOR PRA/DM/EIC.

QUICK is well built male with an enthusiasm for life-whether it be retrieving, therapy work or dog shows. He is 24" 83 lbs with good angles balanced front and rear-compact; a masculine head, small ears and a thick heavily waved coat. You can see a look of "let's go" in his face nearly all the time. He is a beloved companion who brings a smile to his owners' faces with his personality. Quick will be starting his obedience career in 2015. His owner writes about him " Quick is first and foremost THE BEST temperament Chesapeake I have ever encountered. He's great with other dogs, cats, kids, babies and all humans. He always seems to know when to be "right by your side". Quick is a retrieving fool. Spring through Fall Quick swims in the Black River. During summer he actually has a job at Indian Lake in Denville, NJ. After daily swimming concludes, Quick is sent out by the lifeguards to retrieve balls and toys that have floated out of the designated swimming areas. I have hunted Quick four times, all upland game (pheasant, partridge, quail) - he has no formalized training but instinct took over. His nose is impeccable. He has a soft mouth and retrieves to hand nicely."

His background is outstanding-sire was WD at 2008 National; his dam BOB 2007 National. His 1/2 brother is a MBIS winner and his 1/2 sister currently #1 Chesapeake female 2014.
