This combination of Rio & Scout should be a wonderful litter for hunt tests, showing, agility, dock diving and companionship. It is a loose line breeding on our "Denver" and a pedigree of outstanding hunters and conformation dogs. Ch Penrose Puntgunner Gamescout retrieved at shots for the Royal Family in the UK ! One of these pups will stay here at Pond Hollow. I expect deadgrass, sedge and light brown colored pups.

RIO is a handsome intense retriever. He earned his SH title before age 2 (only starting training at 14 mos). In looks, he is a big boned heavy coated sedge male-24 1/2 " 85 lbs. His conformation shows correct/balanced angles with a broad rib cage (a plus for swimming) and short back. He will work on his Ch title in 2017. We brought in Rio's sire from the West Coast for a year to augment the drive and intensity in our girls while keeping good conformation/personality. Rio's sire Max finished his MH in 5 straight and qualified for the 2016 Master National. Max has that let's do it again and again attitude without getting sulky about corrections. This is a trait that is not in high concentration in the breed and which he passes on to his offspring. Aspen is lovely female who is beautiful, personality plus and a focused birdy girl-littermates hold SH & JH titles as well as being working gun dogs. The litter that Rio is from was one of the most outstanding litters of the past 5 yrs that we had here.

SCOUT (out of coat in this picture) is 22 1/2" 70 lbs. Dark deadgrass in color with outstanding conformation-front & rear angles with balance and breed typical outline. She has a well waved dense coarse coat when in coat. With 3 single points in the conformation ring, we anticipate finishing her Ch title next year along with some dock dog diving. She is an inquisitive, athletic female with drive to retrieve-land and water. She looks very much like her sire "Denver". Denver is an outstanding producer of CBRS with Ch and hunt titles including MH level. He was the #1 sire in 2012 and #2 in 2014. His offspring are personality plus ! Her dam "Sunny" is a large 24" 80 lb. deadgrass female with a super super coat. Sunny's brother is a Ch/MH/QA FT dog-with many other littermates working retrievers and beloved companions.
