Looks, temperament and working ability-this litter is another of our well rounded breedings. No matter what endeavor you choose to do-hunt tests, conformation, agility, or just a loved companion/hunting partner, these pups will fit the bill. NONE WILL BE AFFECTED WITH DM/EIC/PRA. Mainly brown and sedge colors expected.

SAKO is from the well respected Caroway breeding and is owned by Mario Beauregard of Quebec, Canada. His sire is CH HRCh Rippling Waters Purple Haze MH , a beautiful dual purpose Chesapeake, and his dam is Caroway's Blazing Hot Chili MH**, a female going back to the best working & FT lines. He is 23.5" 72 lbs. with lovely conformation and a beautiful head piece. He completed his show title in early June 2011. Besides being good looking and talented, he has a wonderful disposition. Very early on, Sako demonstrated a lot of talent. He completed his WC at 7 months; his JH at 8 months; he completed his Senior Hunter title going 4 for 4; in 2013 he completed his Master Hunt Test title, qualified for the Master National and ran all the series. At the ACC National Field Trial, he got a Reserve JAM in the Qualifying. He is very steady, biddable, fast and stylish, and has an excellent disposition and working attitude. He is very exciting to run in hunt tests, and he is an excellent hunting dog.

"Corky" is 22" 65lbs. Fun, fun, fun is CORKY's motto. She has a zest for everything-running, showing, loving, and retrieving. Her nickname should be "fish"-she loves the water ! In Maine at 5 mos. of age, she was the first off the dock into the lake. She has a thick oily double coat & correct balanced conformation with good bone. Her head is pleasing (she seems to be always smiling). In short, she has the whole package ! She finished with 3 majors including a BOD over specials. She is co-owned with Karen Shaffer and lives with her. She is in training to follow in her dam's paw prints in Agility. She is fast and stylish in the field and loves birds.
Her pups from her litter winter 2012 have her same wonderful personality coupled with drive and a willing nature. Her daughter Pond Hollow Vibrant was Best Puppy at the Swedish Chesapeake Club show; she made her WDQ at 9 mos. of age in the UK; and scored 100 % in the Austrian Temperament evaluation!
