All are puppies are naturally whelped and handled daily from birth in our home. Our “girls” are loving and careful mothers. Puppies are provided toys and environmental changes as they grow for mental stimulation. They receive all first shots and wormings. We also expose them to birds, shot and water (weather permitting). Working from your reservation information, we use our expertise to evaluate the puppies for temperament, hunting ability and conformation and match them to your needs and wants. We do not require that you show or compete with your dog in any way. Our main concern is a good permanent home for our dogs. All puppies are guaranteed in writing. See a copy of our guarantee. We also provide a 25 page “operating” manual with your pup. All companion purpose pups are sold on a limited registration agreement. Should you decide you wish to compete in field, show or obedience, the registration can be changed. We do not as a rule sell “breeding” stock. For the serious competition owner, we do have a breeding contract. See a copy of limited registration agreement or breeding contract.

Interested in a competition puppy? First, we are very selective about what we consider a show prospect or hunt test competitor. Since I am an AKC approved conformation & hunt test judge, I have a first hand knowledge of what your puppy needs to have to be a successful competitor. We may suggest waiting for certain breedings that are in our future plans. So please call and speak with us if you are looking for a competition pup. Be advised that generally a litter will only have a few really top prospects. It is extremely rare for any litter to be all show or hunt prospects. So, contact and reservation well in advance is highly recommended.

If you wish to reserve a puppy, a $200 deposit is requested to hold one for you and the deposit is completely refundable. We ask that you complete the reservation form and return it with your deposit. If we do not feel we have a pup that is suitable, at your choice, we will refund your deposit or apply to a later litter. All pups are registered with the POND HOLLOW prefix and formal names are chosen by us (however, we are open to any suggestions you may have but the name suggestions must be submitted by the time you come for your pup).
